Human chromosome 1 specific probe
using human Hybloc DNA as competitor.

Hybloc competitor DNA is the repetitive sequence fraction of genomic DNA. Hybloc competitor DNA may be effectively substituted for any other competitor DNA (ie., COT-1 DNA^Ž) for in situ hybridization, Southern blots, microarray technology or any protocol requiring competition to remove repetitive DNA from binding to the target. Hybridization with Hybloc competitor DNA shows a marked increase in signal intensity and a significant decrease in the amount of background noise associated with repetitive DNA. Hybloc competitor DNA is available for the following species: Mouse, Rat, Human, Bovine, Ovine and Porcine.

How Supplied: Hybloc DNA's are supplied in 500ľg quantities at 1mg/ml in T.E. Other species may be available upon request.
